At the age of 19 Davey Graham wrote what is probably his most famous composition, the acoustic guitar solo "Angi" .

Angi", named after his then girlfriend, appeared on his debut EP 3/4 AD in April 1962. The tune spread through a generation of aspiring guitarists, changing its spelling as it went. Before the record was released Bert Jansch had learned it from a tape borrowed from Graham's half-sister, Jill Doyle, who was giving guitar lessons to Jansch at the time.^[3] Jansch included it on his 1965 debut album as "Angie". The spelling Anji became the more widely used after it appeared in this way on Simon & Garfunkel's 1966 album Sounds of Silence.

Anji soon became a rite of passage for many acoustic fingerstyle guitarists, including another talented British musician, Ralph Mctell, who said of Anji "...here was a tune that combined a quirky rhythm figure with a tune of simple beauty with sexy blue notes with a hypnotic descending bass line. Eu não Reciclo.
Vou ser insultado várias, porque poucos vão ler este artigo até ao fim.
Em 20 anos apenas, apagaram a memórias do vasilhame, do farrapeiro, da compras por grosso, dos sacos de pano.
Em 20 anos apenas, formataram pessoas a reciclar, a comprar e a reciclar.
No final da década 80, no início da forte campanha à reciclagem, quando se comprava água ou um refrigerante, comprava-se a embalagem, e era possível, trocar por outra cheia ou vender a embalagem.
As garrafas não tinham fim de vida, mas vida continua. Curioso, como em 20 anos, a vida da garrafa (agora de vido ou plástico), só tem uma vida.
Sim, só tem uma vida, mas que nos dizem que vai ter nova vida, depois de um gasto energético brutal, isso já não o dizem. Há 20 anos, existiam garrafões de agua e de vinho em vidro, reutilizáveis. Agora existem garrafões de plástico recicláveis.
Há 20 anos, existiam os farrapeiros, que nos compravam o papel e farrapos para a reciclagem. Hoje existem bidões que damos o papel ou cartão que pagamos, quando compramos um qualquer produto, porque isso é bom para o ambiente, mas o que não nos dizem é que para reciclar e lavar esse todo papel existe um gasto brutal de energia, água e lixívias para tornarmos a ter papel muito branco. Pois, em 20 anos, criaram-se mais embalagens de cartão e papel, que pagamos quando adquirimos um qualquer produtos, e depois entregamos aos bidões gratuitamente.
Há 20 anos, o arroz, o feijão e outros produtos que tais comprava-se a grosso e levava-se um saco de pano. Agora existem muitas embalagem em plástico, para qualquer produto alimentar, que depois recicla-se, para isso basta colocar no bidão, porque é bom para o ambiente, mas não interessa as necessidades de energia para tal.
Agora quem recicla é amigo do ambiente, quem não o faz um criminoso. Mas, eu não quero reciclar, quero ter vasilhames, sacos de pano e comprar a grosso e entregar o excesso de papel ao farrapeiro que me dá dinheiro.
Agora pago 3 vezes, pela mesma embalagem, quando compro o produto, quando pago a taxa de resíduos na factura da água, e quando reciclo. Mas, eu só quero pagar a Taxa de lixo.
Neste novo século as campanhas à reciclagem alargaram-se aos electrodomésticos e “novas tecnologias”, pois estas “coisas” duram pouco temo e se deitar-mo ao lixo fazem mal ao ambiente. Mas, eu quero aparelhos que durem muito tempo. Será que os aparelhos estão programados para durar pouco tempo? Eu, diria que sim. Mas, seguindo a lógica devo-me actualizar e entregar os desactualizados no bidão. Mas eu paguei por esse produto, e vão reutilizar esse material, então eu quero que me paguem.
Neste novo século paga-se taxa na entrega de velhos pneus e óleos e pilhas, mas eu pago quando compro estes produtos, entrego-os e depois são reutilizados para fazer estradas, energia e novas pilhas. Eu, quero que me paguem quando entrego os meus pneus velhos e óleos usados e pilhas. Até parece que alguns lucram com isto, e até o ambiente.
Mas as campanhas que mais me chateiam são a de recolha de rolhas e de material orgânico. Essas sim têm realmente ainda mais piada.
No caso das rolhas o grupo Amorim em Associação com as grandes superfícies e até uma conceituada Associação Ambientalista, pedem para as pessoas entregarem as rolhas num qualquer Supermercado, pois em troca plantam sobreiros. Pois, não contam, é que por não terem tido um visão de sustentabilidade há 20 anos não plantaram sobreiros, não era preciso, havia muitos e dava para as encomendas. Não contam também, que o custo em água e energia para obter estilha de cortiça, a partir das rolhas é muito superior à da cortiça retirada directamente do sobreiro. Mas, porreiro para os amigos do ambiente, pois passam a pagar pela rolha, pela plantação de sobreiros que o Grande grupo não o fez, e pelos novos produtos resultantes da estilha.
A compostagem está na moda, até nos dão embalagens para fazer em casa, mas pagas na mesma a Taxa de lixo na factura da água. Coisa estranha, então se eu seguir a regras todas da reciclagem, ainda pago uma taxa de recolha de resíduos. Pois, a reciclagem é amiga do ambiente, e tu és amigo da Lipor e da ValorSul e outras que tais. Mas, e os orgânicos que vão para o aterro? Já não vão estas empresas criam composto e vendem aos agricultores e agora em novas embalagens ao consumidor final em qualquer supermercado. Mas, então eu compro composto, do composto que dou? Sim, assim és amigo do ambiente e pagas 3 vezes, quando compras os produtos compostáveis, a taxa de resíduos na factura da água e depois quando compras composto ou sacos de terra.
Agora, já posso ser insultado pois todos ganham, o ambiente (dizem), as autarquias e a empresas de recolha e triagem de resíduos (não o dizem), e ganhas tu (mentem).

Ufff! Está finalizada a apanha da azeitona, uma tarefa que detesto.

Executada ansiosamente na pressa de chegar ao fim e com a antecipação sempre presente da arrelia da ida ao lagar, da espera pela entrega do precioso e delicado fruto, das trafulhices na respectiva pesagem, na expectativa da arbitrária "fundição" e da qualidade do azeite recebido, a apanha da azeitona é uma tarefa enfadonhamente monótona que se prolonga por dias ou semanas moldadas pela instável metereologia do Outono, cansativa ainda mais psicológica do que fisicamente.
Enquanto, empoleirado num escadote (não uso a escada desde que através da poda "baixei" as velhas oliveiras plantadas e cuidadas por sucessivas gerações da família), as mãos se esmeram nos malabarismos da apanha do fruto, entretém-se o desocupado pensamento, o mais das vezes, com elocubrações sobre personagens e acontecimentos de desagradável e arreliante memória.

E ... eis como a apanha da azeitona, uma tarefa que à partida se me afigura detestável, se pode tornar verdadeiramente gratificante, não tanto por ser realizada ao ar livre, respirando inconspurcados ares, ouvindo o sussuro do ribeiro que corre ao fundo do olival emoldurado pela folhagem já dourada dos carvalhos, mas antes por substituir e evitar o desperdício de tempo a aturar insuportáveis macacos a teatrar de gente.
